Delay is NOT Denial

Waiting.. and long waiting for that matter is not an easy task. BUT keeping the right attitude while waiting is essential. Scripture tells us, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Being in the wilderness and not knowing when the time will arrive for you to be at your place of destiny can be a very trying moment, because you feel stuck. However, everywhere you find yourself has a purpose to it. It’s in the wilderness where Abba Father gets to reveal Himself to you and your purpose, through you trusting in Him and HIS timing. We look at Moses in the Old Testament, he spent 40 years living as a shepherd in the desert, to a point he thought his dream to deliver the Israelites out of slavery will not come to pass. We also see that, it is during his time in the wilderness where he encountered God’s presence in a burning bush. (Exodus 3) and He revealed to him his NOW time to deliver the Israelites.

You can choose to wait well during this time, because this is where your faith and trust in God is strengthened, the eyes of your understanding are enlightened to know the hope of His calling. (Ephesians 1:18)  Father God will tell you to wait, as He prepares you for what He has.  No good thing does the father withhold from His children, hence He will mould you to the capacity of being able to sustain what He has predestined for you. An inheritance gained too quickly, can be like a curse if we don’t have the capacity to hold and steward it correctly. (Proverbs 20:21)  A good example is the case of the prodigal son, who demanded his inheritance from his father, and ended up wallowing in disaster.

Preparation for your destiny is key at this time. Study to show thyself approved unto God, (2 Timothy 2:15), Intimacy with your heavenly father will give you more knowledge and understanding of who He is and your purpose. Just like in the natural, if you want to get to know a person, you will spend time with them and talk to them.

When the time to leave your wilderness comes, He will reveal this to you. This time often feels as though pressure is mounting up from all sides, these are the final stages of preparation and can be very intense. You ought to faint not and not throw in the towel, dig your feet in like the hind feet of a deer and hold on to your anchor, Jesus Christ. (To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven). Ecclesiastes 3:1

At the end of it all and at the appointed time, you will be released to your destiny with wings like an eagle and the only dependency you will have, is on your Abba Father. He is Jehovah Jireh, your provider.

Believe In You

Matthew 6:33 King James Version (KJV)

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Every morning, wake up with the decision to achieve a goal for the day. Success does not come overnight, it’s in your daily routine. Neither is it found in the comfortable places, you have to be intentional, put your hand to the plough and don’t look back.

Luke 9:62 ” And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Just do it. You can’t conquer what you don’t confront. You have the seed of greatness in you, to do that which you set your mind to. As long as you can see it in your mind, you can have it. Your vision is a clear mental picture that moulds your today, as Andy Stanley says..

BELIEVE IN YOU..
